(Port Huron, MI) -- Police have charged a Port Huron woman in a murder-for-hire scheme. Investigators say 29-year-old Christina Platt met twice with an undercover detective posing as a hit man and tried to hire him to kill her ex-boyfriend. Platt allegedly offered the fake assassin two-thousand dollars and the title of her car as a partial payment. She is facing charges of solicitation of murder and is being held on 500-thousand dollars bond. She is scheduled to appear in court again August 19th.
