(Detroit, MI) -- With the moratorium on water shutoffs in Detroit ending on Monday, the city is hosting an event to help keep the water flowing. A Water Fair at Cobo Center on Saturday will allow customers facing shutoffs to find out how to apply for funding assistance as well as have their questions answered about ways to avoid having their service stopped. Qualified low-income families could be offered help from the Detroit Water Fund, late fees could be waved and payment plans can be arranged. Saturday's fair is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
