(Detroit, MI) -- A 32-year-old Warren man is facing several charges in connection with three homicides in Detroit. Gabriel Cooper was charged with three counts of first-degree murder along with torture and firearms violations during a video arraignment yesterday. Cooper is accused in the January 2013 shooting death of 22-year-old Candest Mills and the November 2012 deaths of 30-year-old Larae Bowman and her brother Lavon Bowman. He is currently behind bars at a correctional facility in Muskegon Heights until at least 2045 for robbing and sexually assaulting three women in Detroit last year.
