Verlander Leaves Early With Shoulder Stiffness

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Tigers fans are crossing their fingers this morning regarding the health of star pitcher Justin Verlander. The former Cy Young Award winner left yesterday's loss in Pittsburgh with shoulder stiffness after just one-and-one-third of an inning and will be examined today. It was Verlander's shortest outing of his nine-year-career. The workhorse has never missed a start because of injury.
