(Detroit, MI) -- More than two-dozen VA facilities in the state, including those in Detroit, Ann Arbor and Saginaw, were audited as part of a nationwide review. Of those, three have been flagged for further review. The VA center in Ann Arbor along with the outpatient clinics in Lansing and Muskegon have reportedly raised some red flags in the eyes of the auditors although most of the details regarding those concerns have not yet been released. There is speculation that the Ann Arbor facility may have been flagged because there were more appointments scheduled outside of a 30-day time frame there than any other VA facility in the state. The goal of the VA is to schedule appointments within 14-days.
