(Ann Arbor, MI) -- The University of Michigan is the target of a federal lawsuit by a student who alleges the school ignored his complaint that another student threatened to rape him. The student filed a complaint Wednesday with the federal Office of Civil Rights. He alleges U-of-M officials didn't protect him after he was threatened, and fired him from his campus job instead. The school claimed the student was fired from his job as a resident advisor in a dorm because he couldn't handle the job and was overwhelmed by the number of incidents in the building.
