(Lansing, MI) -- The state will fine Aramark Correctional Services 200-thousand dollars for errors made in the state prison system. The state will also upgrade the monitoring of Aramark's prison food service. Numerous problems were found after the "Detroit Free Press" did a series of reports that showed a lack of cleanliness, workers having sex with inmates, and contraband smuggling. The Michigan Corrections Organization union says the fine is nothing but a slap on the wrist, and they wanted to see the contract canceled.
