Start Of Detroit's Bankruptcy Hearing Postponed
(Detroit, MI) -- A hearing on Detroit's bankruptcy restructuring plan has been postponed by one week. Bankruptcy Judge Stephen Rhodes says he moved the start of the hearing to August 21st because the city just filed its fifth version of its restructuring plan a few days ago. That means, he says, creditors might not have enough time to prepare. Judge Rhodes says the hearing may continue for an estimated five weeks.
