(Detroit, MI) -- It looks like the old Southwestern High School is about to be sold. A state board has given preliminary approval to sell the property for one-million-dollars to a developer. Detroit Public Schools, however, could still override the approval and sell the building to a higher bidder. Southwestern High School sits on a 16-acre lot that is right near the site that will soon become a new bridge to Canada.
