(Washington, DC) -- President Obama says the lives of thousands of Central American children are being put at risk during long trips to the U.S. After a White House meeting today with the presidents of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, Obama said the four nations have a "shared responsibility" to deal with the problem. Tens of thousands of migrants have poured across the U.S. border in recent months. Many of the migrants are unaccompanied children. The migrants are fleeing poverty and violence in their home countries.
