(Detroit, MI) -- Voters will decide Tuesday on the fate of the Detroit Public Library system. The current millage expires next year, and voters can decide whether to support a millage designed to support the library system for the next ten years. This millage would provide 30-million dollars per year toward the library's budget which is right around 32-million dollars. If the millage is rejected, it is a very likely possibility that the entire Detroit Public Library system would have to shut down.
