Kerry Works For Truce As Gaza Death Toll Rises
(Gaza) -- Secretary of State John Kerry is continuing his diplomatic efforts in trying to negotiate a truce between Israel and Hamas militants in Gaza. Brian Thor from Jerusalem, whose son is in the Israeli army, says he hopes a truce is agreed upon soon.
The talks come as Palestinian officials said the death toll in Gaza topped 700. Meantime, the FAA is lifting its ban on U.S. airlines from flying into or out of Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport.
