(Detroit, MI) -- Hundreds of Detroiters were on hand Saturday for the city's water affordability fair in anticipation of Monday when the moratorium on water shut-offs will end. The event was designed to help customers understand how complicated the issue has become for both the city and its customers. 17-thousand customers have had their water cut off so far this year, and there tens of thousands of more customers with delinquent bills. The issue has received national attention in recent weeks. Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan says he will unveil his plan this week on how to better handle the water shut-offs.
