(Detroit, MI) -- An estimated 400 people packed the Detroit Water Department's Eastside Service Center over the weekend to get water payment plans worked out. For some, they even got their overdue bills forgiven as the city's 15-day moratorium on shutting off water service ends today. Those who agreed to pay ten-percent down were able to enter into a payment plan. The Water and Sewerage Department is owed 90-million by customers.
