(Detroit, MI) -- The eight-year-old Detroit boy shot to death while he was sleeping in his home has been identified as Jakari Pearson. Investigators say a dispute between the boy's mother and another person evidently led to the gunshots. The little boy was in his bed when a bullet went through the wall of his home on the city's east side and struck him. He was rushed to Children's Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Detroit Police are questioning a person of interest in the shooting, but have not released any other details of their investigation.
