(Detroit, MI) -- A 19-year-old man is back in Detroit Police custody and likely to be arraigned today on charges related to his escape this week. Kenneth Hickman was being treated for a gunshot wound at Sinai -Grace Hospital on Wednesday when he somehow slipped out of shackles after the officer guarding him stepped out of the room. Deputy Police Chief Steve Dolunt says a relative helped end a manhunt that lasted almost 24 hours. Hickman was under arrest for the armed robbery of a man and woman one week ago. He suffered the injury that needed treatment during that crime, according to police.
