(Detroit, MI) -- A Detroit woman opened fire on three teens who broke into her home. According to authorities, the suspects kicked in the door of a house in the 74-hundred block of Woodrow Wilson Monday evening. Inside the home were a mother and her two young children. Police say the woman warned the suspects she had a gun and once they forced their way inside the house, she began firing shots. No one was injured and the three juveniles have been arrested and arraigned on home invasion charges. Detroit Police Chief James Craig says he believes she did the right thing.
