U Of M Targets 2021 For Driverless Car Network In Ann Arbor

(Ann Arbor, MI) -- The University of Michigan wants a driverless car network in Ann Arbor in just over seven years. The school has set 2021 as its goal to establish the system, which researchers believe will change how people and goods move in a way unseen since the dawn of the auto industry. U-M has established the Mobility Transportation Center to make the project work, and are currently working with three-thousand area residents to test the vehicles.
