(Auburn Hills, MI) -- A recall of nearly 870-thousand SUV's has been issued by Chrysler Group. The recall covers Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos built between 2011 and 2014. The company says a defect in the brake system was discovered after customers complained about the stiffness of the brake pedal. A shield will be installed to protect the brake boosters from corrosion caused by exposure to water.
