(Detroit, MI) -- DTE Energy crews have been on the job since late Sunday afternoon working to get the lights back on in Metro Detroit. The utility had around 200-thousand customers in the dark at the height of the outage. High winds were a problem over night after the severe storms moved on, and also hampered the work of the crews to get all the repairs made. Statewide, nearly 500-thousand lost power.
